Accessory Colors: Buttons, Stripes and Drawstrings Beyond Black and White

What Changed

Small details decide whether a garment reads as custom or generic. Until now, the details that sit on top of an all-over print — buttons, stripes, drawstrings — were locked to black or white across the print-on-demand industry, including here. The print could be anything; the hardware could be two things.

That limit is gone. Accessory colors are now a design choice, with nine additional shades on top of black and white, so the trim can match the artwork instead of fighting it.

The Colors

Black and white stay free and unchanged. The nine new options are:

  • Red
  • Pink
  • Purple
  • Navy
  • Royal blue
  • Dark green
  • Yellow
  • Gold
  • Silver

Each accessory is set independently, so buttons and stripes do not have to match. A pink stripe with cream buttons is a valid combination, and so is the reverse.

Where It Works Today

  • Baseball Jersey – AOP — button color and stripe color
  • Cropped Baseball Jersey – AOP — button color and stripe color
  • Athletic and Fashion Hoodies — flat drawstring color
  • Athletic and Fashion Hoodie & Jogger sets — flat drawstring color

The options work in both the new Product Creator and the old editor.

How to Use It

Open a supported product, upload your design, and pick the accessory colors in the customization panel. The mockups regenerate with your selection, so what you see is what your customer receives.

Colored accessories carry a small extra fee per item, shown in the editor before you publish. Black and white remain included at no additional cost, so nothing changes for products you have already listed.

Create a baseball jersey and try the new colors.
